To insert columns

  1. Position the text insertion point in the column to the left or right the place you want to add a column.

  2. From the Table menu A list of available commands and actions in Publisher. Menu names are displayed in the menu bar at the top of the Publisher window., select Insert Columns. The Insert Columns dialog box appears.

  3. In the Columns to insert spin box, type the number of columns you want to insert.

  4. From the Add New Columns group box, choose whether you want to add the new column(s) on the left or right of the selected column.

  5. Click on OK. The column(s) is inserted into your table.
